Bina Khan has been a respected make up artist and teacher for over 25 years. Her unique take on Pakistani bridal make-up, a combination between Hollywood red carpet glamour, modern clean skin and the deep, rich colours that suit desi skin so well, coupled with a joy in celebrating rather than disguising skin tones, have earned her work a loyal following. She has been flown all over the world by brides who could not imagine their big day without Bina in it!


She stays relevant by constantly updating her skill set and playing with techniques that keep people coming back for more. She won a spot on the coveted advanced course run by the world famous make-up artist Val Garland, where she completed briefs for Nars, Vivienne Westwood, Mathew Williamson and  i-D magazine.

Whether learning one on one in person or through an online course, her classes are extremely detailed, extremely technical and the mentorship continues often after training is complete. The Pakistani makeup landscape is full of makeup artists of renown who started their make up training with Bina, including her own team.

Bina has worked with some of the leading names in Pakistani fashion, including Sana and SafinazMisha Lakhani, Menahel Mehreen, Maheen Karim, Khadija Shah of Elan, Sania MaskatiyaVaneeza Ahmed to name a few. Her carefully crafted and detailed portraits of Pakistani icons, like the Academy Award winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy or the actors Sanam Saeed and Aamina Sheikh, have been seen in the pages of TIME magazine and on the covers of Hello Magazine, OK magazine and many others.


She has written a long running column for The Tribune called “Let’s Make up” and countless articles for publications like The News, Libas, Herald, OK magazine, Hello Magazine, Sunday Magazine and Weekend magazine to name a few.
